Upcoming conference: CICA 2026 International Conference — "Architectural Criticism: Resistance and Commitment"

Over the next two weekends (October 10–11 and 17–18), the International Committee of Architectural Critics – CICA will host its International Conference, dedicated to the theme “Architectural Criticism: Resistance and Commitment,” at Casa da Arquitectura, in Matosinhos, Portugal, in person for the first time since the International Conference Series began.

I am honoured to be part of the organising committee, alongside fellow architects Ana Tostões, Pedro Baía, Nuno Grande, Carlos Machado e Moura, João Belo Rodeia, Luís Santiago Baptista, and Marta Sequeira. Keynote speakers include Patti Anahory, Kazi Khaleed Ashraf, Valerio Paolo Mosco, and Joan Ockman.
